Bling Lighting Studio

At Bling Lighting Studio, many of our products are made to order, customized, oversized, or shipped internationally directly from China.
For that reason, please review our return and refund policy carefully before placing an order.

We always encourage customers to contact us before purchase if they have any questions about size, finish, hanging drop, compatibility, shipping, or timing.

Because many of our products are made to order or shipped internationally, we encourage customers to confirm key details such as size, finish, and hanging drop before purchase. This helps avoid unnecessary return costs and delays for both sides.


1. Return Window

We accept return requests for eligible standard items within 30 days of the confirmed delivery date.

To be eligible for return, the item must be:

  • unused and uninstalled
  • in original condition
  • returned with all original parts and accessories
  • packed in the original packaging, or in equivalent protective packaging approved by us in advance

Requests made after 30 days of delivery will not be accepted unless otherwise agreed in writing.


2. Return Authorization Required

Please do not send any item back without contacting us first.

All returns require prior written authorization from our team.
Unauthorized returns may be refused or may not be eligible for refund.

3. Return Shipping Costs

A. If the item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect

If we confirm that the item arrived damaged, defective, or that the wrong item was sent, we will review the case and provide a reasonable solution, which may include:

  • replacement parts
  • partial reshipment
  • full replacement
  • return for refund, where applicable

In these cases, the return or replacement arrangement will be handled based on the specific issue confirmed by our team.

B. If the return is based on customer preference

For returns due to change of mind, ordering the wrong size, no longer needing the item, or other non-quality reasons:

  • the customer is responsible for return shipping costs
  • a 15% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund
  • original shipping charges, expedited shipping fees, duties, storage fees, and other non-recoverable logistics charges are non-refundable

Because many of our items are shipped directly from China and may be oversized, return shipping costs can be significant.


4. Packaging Requirement for Returns

Returned items should be sent back in the original packaging whenever possible.

If the original packaging is no longer available, we may accept equivalent protective packaging, but only if this is approved by us in writing before the return is sent.

If insufficient packaging results in damage during return transit, the item may not qualify for a full refund.


5. Order Cancellation

Within 24 Hours of Order Placement

Orders may usually be cancelled free of charge within 24 hours of placement, provided the order has not yet entered production, customization, or shipping arrangement.

After Production Has Started

If production, customization, or special sourcing has already started, cancellation may no longer be possible.

After Shipment

Once an order has been dispatched, handed to the logistics provider, or loaded for international transport, cancellation is no longer possible.

Please wait for delivery and then contact us if you would like to request a return of an eligible item.

Refused Delivery

If a customer refuses delivery of a shipped order without prior written approval, the order will be treated as a return request after shipment.

In such cases, any refund will be subject to:

  • the 15% restocking fee
  • return shipping costs
  • any storage, refusal, rerouting, customs, handling, or logistics charges incurred

6. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are non-returnable and non-refundable, except in the case of verified damage, defect, or shipping error:

  • customized or made-to-specification products
  • items with custom dimensions, custom finishes, custom colors, custom hanging drop, or custom configurations
  • project orders, bulk orders, or specially arranged quantity orders
  • installed, used, altered, or damaged items not caused by transit issues
  • items returned without prior authorization
  • expedited shipping charges or special service charges already rendered
  • returns requested after 30 days of delivery

7. Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged or appears defective, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and provide:

  • clear photos of the outer packaging
  • clear photos of the item
  • photos of the shipping label
  • a brief description of the issue

Failure to report shipping damage within a reasonable time may affect our ability to review the case with the carrier or logistics provider.


8. Alternative Resolution

For some non-quality return requests, especially for international or oversized items, we may offer an alternative resolution instead of a physical return.

This may include a partial refund for keeping the item, where appropriate.

This option is offered at our discretion and depends on the product, condition, and shipping circumstances.


9. Refund Processing Timeline

Once the returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you whether the refund is approved.

If approved, refunds are usually processed to the original payment method within 7–14 business days.

Please note:

  • payment processor timing may vary
  • original shipping fees and non-refundable service fees will not be refunded
  • restocking fees and applicable logistics charges will be deducted where relevant

10. Important Notes

  • Variations in color caused by screen display differences do not automatically qualify as defects
  • Minor measurement tolerances within normal production standards do not automatically qualify as defects
  • We strongly recommend contacting us before purchase if you are unsure about size, hanging drop, finish, or compatibility
